Ways To Make Money Online

The home of make money online wisdom

13)      Paid surveys aren’t so bad, over a cup of coffee, during the evenings after work, whilst the kids watch their television shows, you switch into your email inbox and complete the surveys that are sent to you over the weeks upon joining some decent paid survey directories. There are a few decent free websites such as ciao.co.uk mainly for british residents, but joining some good directories can pay off. They’re really dull sometimes and piss easy, but hey, whose to say no to a few extra bucks! Pocket money…

14)      Mystery shopping is still quite unfamiliar to many people. If you’re downright bored and just want to get out, try it. There are so many companies, that I could probably build up a mystery shopping directory (now wouldn’t that be something!) combined with some useful tips and resources, I could probably charge $10 or something and make a couple of hundreds or more. Honestly, sometimes worth a try. These companies will pay you to try their products, services, eat at their restaurants, drive cars, take a holiday, provided you feed them with honest feedback. Check out some directories here.

15)      With more entrepreneurs on the rise, the need for virtual assistants (VA’s) are becoming increasingly demanding. Doing work like administration, invoicing, some innovative and maybe technical work are expected, all of which can be done from the comfort of your own home. If you have a PC, which I assume you do, considering you’re reading this, and can access ivaa.org then you’re good to go.

16)      Paid to surf the web! No kidding, if you haven’t heard already, you get paid for having selected websites load up on your screen whilst browsing the internet. No rocket science. Before it used to be really boring since you didn’t usually get to choose which websites you want to visit. Nowadays, it’s just browsing the internet as normal and the viewbar would display relevant sites by detecting what you are searching for. Almost like pop ups, but less frustrating. Lately, many advertisers, online retailers, search companies and sponsors are pouring large sums of their advertising budget into this system of targeted traffic, and I guess their doing it for a reason! Hey, at least a dollar a day, keeps those bills away! Well, not quite, but this viewbar thingey doesn’t ruin your browsing experience and you get paid for just doing whatever it is you do online…way to go. Try AglocoGroup it’s becoming hugely popular and is set to increase payouts with their growing network. You can also boost your earnings by referring others to the program and it’s got high conversion ratios.

17)      Inspired by the best, eBay is the world’s most successful online auction website and probably will be for a long time coming. Their exposure has exploded in almost every country with internet access. I mean, how often do you come across someone whose never heard of eBay? That’s right! However, eBay is supposed to be the common marketplace for a good bargain…or is it? Depends on what you sell really. Competitive items with many sellers and many listings can drag down the typical price but if you can source some niche items, which are the key when it comes to building a profitable eBay business then you’re going to take a deep dive into the world of eBay profits. I read about a guy who began selling some special types of rocks from near his back yard and a few other uninhabited places. He never thought it’d turn him into an online eBay mogul. He practically owned that little segment of a market that turned out to exist on eBay, and some people were bidding with ludicrous amounts. This little man turned into a full fledged business wagon. Remember, the key is to find something unique!

18)      Go video bonanza on Youtube. Will you believe it, there are millions upon millions of website driving the popularity of youtube over the roof. I mean literally stormed into the hall of the great web’s space of superstardom. Even rubbish, stupid and boring videos get so many views, it’s just unbelievable. When you ignite that spark in your brain, you’d realise the marketing potential that very social networking, video site has. If you have a company website or have just created a product to sell online, produce a cheap and cheerful, yet perhaps slightly cultivating video about your product or niche and try to convince the viewers to visit your website. It’s interesting how a decent video will pull in so many viewers and virally market itself, thus flowing traffic onto your very own website, provided you leave your website URL. Your video should entice the viewers to care to log in to see your website, and it’s a highly targeted strategy of building unique website visitors. If you’re too lazy to search a good website like netwebvideo.com and do it yourself, just get a programmer or specialist from elance to do it for you, under your instructions, for competitively low prices!

19)      Domain names, selling domain names is a clever little game, if you have a good mind and the time to sit there thinking of domain names that will pull in a little extra cash to resell do it, or if you can start to find places that sell them and find the bargens then resell them.

20)      Sell advertising space.  Yes, getting sponsers on a website that recieves a lot of traffic, depsite the possibility of even low quality traffic, will make your website a potential advertiser’s goldmine. Advertisers and sponsers want exposue big time and will do anything to get some attention through your website. Generally, the more traffic you have coming into your website, the bigger the monthly price tag you can charge. We’re talking full time income’s worth, just from this strategy. The secret here is to master the art of SEO, thus learning how to go from a new website to one with hunreds to thousands of dailiy visitors. Why not just start a blog or a website about the thing you know about or like the most. Think of your favourite thing, provided it’s not too competitive (i.e: debt consolidation, domains, ipods) and start working on it for a few months. Unique content as you know will turn it into a link magnet and market itself to a pool of content hungary readers online. More visitors appreciate the value of your website or blog. Check out TextLinkAds.

21)      Exploit the misspellings market that till today continues to operate well at a functional, steady rate. Search engines like Google will usually notify and suggest the right spelling for mistakenly typed keywords and search terms, despite that there are so many people that have a habit of typing misspelled terms, that you only need a small handful to profit from. What you do is, instead of search marketing for a competitive keyword(s), you focus your SEO efforts on commonly misspelled keywords. People trying to get elsewhere will end up landing on your wonderful site instead. Monetize the traffic from those keywords to sell stuff from your website. Ching Ching!

22)      Adwords from big search engines can drive profits through a system of affiliate marketing. Though it is primarily a proportion of search engine marketing, i.e: PPC advertising, it is a gem in it’s own right. This little opportunity has made many success stories and even then, still under-utilised. It’s simply a Google Cash technique, hotly debated in some forums, of bidding for cheap keywords relative to the products/services that you are promoting as an affiliate for other companies. You find and buy dirt cheap keywords, heavy flow of traffic follows, you generate sales or leads then your commissions are sent to you. The ideal cycle works well when your PPC expenses fall below your commission revenue. Deduct the expenses and hopefully calculate a profit. Repeat the same procedure with every niche or unexploited, under-utilised, improperly promoted brands and products that you can possibly find on affiliate networks. It’s not surprising to hear a single PPC campaign turning in profits of $200 - $400 a month for a measly 20 mins job. Multiply this by 10…now we’re talking! Bear in mind, you will have to spare a few minutes each day to check up on your add performance and improve successful campaigns to boost your earnings. Among the top three PPC providers: Google Adwords, Yahoo Search Marketing and Microsoft Ad Centre. As for keywords, use a simple free tool such as Overture Keyword Tool or for more advanced features Wordtracker.

23)      But if you honestly do like writing, there is another way to utilise your hobby. Start a blog, a good one. If it’s something different to other bloggers that publish boring posts on what they eat and did at grandma’s house, then you should be able to attract an audience. Your blog need not be something very specific, it can be very general, such as about your life experiences and even like a news feed on current world events, but your very own customized version, where your thoughts and opinions are voiced. You can spark debates and discussions and actually have a good time. Search trends show a massive demand for social networking sites. Your blog can be one of them. So, a month or two later when you’ve got into the habit of posting your own content, you work on bringing visitors by pinging your blog posts and advertising them on free social networking and bookmarking sites, such as Digg and del.icio.us.  More and more people will visit to see what you’re writing about and if you’re interesting enough, they’ll come back. The more recognised you become, the better you will do at search engines where you will receive free traffic without you even knowing. Then, monetize the traffic to cash in…
